Every creative project begins with a vision — and ours was bold: to capture an entire editorial photoshoot underwater.
We planned this shoot for Marry Me magazine, and from the start, we knew it wouldn’t be a typical session. To bring this vision to life, we had to become part of the environment ourselves — so the entire team committed to learning how to dive. For four months, we trained intensively, gaining the skills we needed to safely and confidently work underwater.
Once we completed our training, we began preparing for the shoot — only to hit our first major obstacle: underwater lighting equipment wasn’t available at the time. It could’ve been the end of the project, but instead, it sparked a new solution. We used mirrors to reflect and direct natural light beneath the surface, creating a beautiful and ethereal atmosphere.
We chose the stunning diving destination of Dahab for the shoot — known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. To ensure the model could perform effortlessly underwater, we cast a professional diver with experience and ease in that environment.
The result was more than just a photoshoot — it was a journey. A journey of passion, perseverance, and creative problem-solving. This experience reminded us that creativity knows no limits, and that every challenge is a doorway to something beautiful.

خططنا لتنفيذ سيشن مختلف تمامًا لمجلة “ماري مي”، وكان لازم نتعلم الغوص بأنفسنا عشان نقدر ننفذ الرؤية دي زي ما تخيلناها بالضبط. لمدة ٤ شهور، الفريق بالكامل دخل تدريب مكثف على الغوص، وده كان تحدي في حد ذاته، بس كنا مؤمنين بالفكرة ومتحمسين نحققها.
بعد ما خلصنا التدريب وبدأنا في التحضير للتصوير، واجهتنا أول عقبة حقيقية: معدات الإضاءة تحت الماء مش متوفرة في الوقت ده، وده كان ممكن يوقف المشروع تمامًا. لكن بدل ما نستسلم، قررنا نلاقي حل إبداعي، واستخدمنا المرايات لعكس الضوء تحت المية بشكل طبيعي وجذاب.
اختارنا مدينة دهب لتصوير السيشن، لأنها ببساطة من أجمل أماكن الغوص في مصر، وفيها طبيعة بحرية مبهرة. كمان اخترنا عارضة الأزياء من ضمن الغطاسين المحترفين، عشان تكون مرتاحة ومتمكنة تحت الماء.
النتيجة كانت تجربة ساحرة وصور بتعبر عن الجهد، الشغف، والتفاني اللي اتحطوا في كل لحظة من الرحلة دي. الرحلة دي علمتنا إن الإبداع ملوش حدود، وإن كل تحدي هو باب لفكرة جديدة.
